Carrying out Training Needs Assessment exercises in all 47 counties to select master craftsmen who will be trained to empower them be Trainers of Trainers (ToTs)

Carrying out membership drives for sector experts at grassroots level and these individuals will elect their representatives who will make up the Sector Forums

The elected individuals in-turn give guidance in the development of sector curriculums for training at all levels of education in Kenya, in the particular sector skills KACET registered members go through capacity building in the area of entrepreneurship skills, financial management skills, marketing skills, and link sector artisan experts to funders to support their businesses

Performing membership drives to help populate a national database of expert craftsmen and women representing all sectors of manufacturing from the grassroots level Trained KACET members become empowered to develop diverse income generating streams to improve their livelihood straight from the grassroots

KACET aims to reach to all 47 counties in Kenya. So far pilot projects have been conducted in 10 counties:
